                  Many many years ago there was a very very  
         tiny dragon. Next door   lived a collapsed old             snail one day the snail went for a walk .He
            meet the tiny dragon they had a talk for                    awayle.

On Tuesday we went on a 14 km bike ride from Okaihau to Kaikohe.  My Nana and I went in Seth's car. 

When we got to the b.m.x trails I did a jump over the gorse. I took the wrong track and went down a big slope and I almost fell off, it was terrifying. 

When I went up the hill I saw Carter Bird and Dylan were up ahead. They were speeding, then they stopped for me. At the end of the bike ride I had two delicious ice blocks.  

It was a really fun day.

first you need some string then you need a craft knife then you need some cups.


First you need to choose how much string you want on your phone.

Then get 2 cups and puncture a hole in them. 

Thread the string through the holes on the bottom of the cups and tie a little knot.

Tell your partner your secrets.

Doing boring home work

Today I went to school before school I had
to do my home work ... Boring . I hate my
reading  it's the worst oval I still did it anyway.

Rugby

In the weekend I played rugby in Kaitaia, we lost 1 to 3 to waipapa.  The field was muddy and wet and cold.  The mud felt squishy and ticklish in between my toes when I walked on it.

• 1. pour some milk into a bowl. 

• 2. sprinkle a drop of food colouring on top of the milk. 

• 3. Dip a cotton bud into the dish washing liquid. 

• 4. Place the cotton bud on top of the milk. 

• 5. The  milk pushes the food coloring away.

Making a parachute 

Materials 

• Sellotape
• Koala
• Plastic bag 
• String 
• 
  
• cut a hole in a plastic bag.

•  2 choose how  many pieces of string you want.
• 3 thread your peas of string through the holes 
•  4 strangle the koala tie it to the parachute
• 5 try it out.

To night I have to do some home work with my mum ...Boring.

Today I went to school with my mum today at school we learnt all about shaps
and things like that.today at school it was fun
because the ticker let us watch a movele.

Last night me and my nana went to check her possum traps. There were 4 dead possums and
there were 2 rats in the  traps.

Yesterday we dropped ice on a plate and then we forced some hot water into a glass. Next we poured some food coloring in the glass. The glass turned red. Then we placed the plate on top. We watch and waited until the water dribbled down the side.

I thought it was cool because we got to draw some pictures.

When we put the mentos in the sprite zero bottle the sprite reacted. Because  at the factory they pumped carbon dioxide in to make it fizz. When we dropped the mentos in it reacted with the gas and made it explode.

GOING TO RUGBY TRAINING

I'm looking forward to Thursday because that's
RUGBY TRAINING
Day!!!

After school we head to the Tiapa rugby club where l

meet up with my team players.

Training day is about practising our tackls,sidestep and passing. 
I always feel excited when I get there and also a little bit nervous.

And always I am chilly (brrrr) when I start and puffed and sweaty when I finish.

THE QUICK QUICKSAND RESCUE

One winters cold day two brothers called Sam and Jack decided to dress up warmly and take a stroll along the beach.

As Sam and Jack were strolling along, Jqck noticed something silver glistening in one of the sand dunes.  He decided to investigate.

Sam said to Jack " Its probebly y just a piece of old tinfoil shining in the sun, but shall we take a look anyway"?  However, Jack was already heading towards it by the time Sam had finished his sentence.

When Jack got to the bottom of the dune he came across a stream that he would have to cross.  The stream was shallow, sandy and cold and Jack did not realise that he was heading straight into quicksand.

Jack immediately started to panic, he tried to jump free but he was sinking quickly.  He felt frightened and cold as he sank deeper and deeper into the sand.

Luckily Sam was not far behind and he was able to think and act fast!!!  He held out a big stick to Jack who managed to grab it just in time before he went under.  Sam heaved and heaved 

and  eventuall got Jack to  safety . The brothers never ever found out what was 

glistening  in the sun in the sand dune.

MY COOKING DAY

This weekend I made some cup cakes .We used a recipe from my cook book .They were divine banana flavoured cap cakes I did a lot of mixing of ingredients before we baked them they were
tasty. Tomorrow we are going to do some more. We are going to bake somethings different Like
chocolate chippy biskitsd.I'm shore that they will be very nice like our others ones are too.

MUMS NEW BABY

In 2014 my mum had a baby. It  was as little as a ant.
My mum was plesed to have it.
I think she would like to have another one.
His name is Ben.
He likes to drink  milk.
He is my brother and I'm his brother.

A Six Sentence Story

Once upon a time there was a crocodile named Jack.

He lived in a dirty lake in South Australia.

Jack was good at catching food in the water. His favourite food was sprats. He would hide in a piece of seaweed and quietly sneak up on the sprats. 

Jack was not very fast at running on land so he couldn't catch any new food. Jack was getting sick of eating sprats. 

He felt sick and he really wanted a human for dinner. 

He tried and tried and one day he captured his first human. Jack let the human go because he felt sorry for him.

Wacky Hair Day\

On wacky hair day there was a cooking class.
My Dad took it.Me and my friends Zion, Soli, Jordan and Carter made some coleslaw for everyone to eat with their sausage.The squishy, colourful coleslaw was made from onions,carrot and cabbage with Dad's
mayonnaise.L dished it out .Also it was Masy's last day at Mangonui School.She went to Whangarei.

Dad enjoyed teaching us how to cook. I hope he comes back another time to make  Hawaiian Pizza.
